Before you travel, please contact us. Informing MCFCU of your travel plans can help us to ensure that using your card while away will be as easy as possible

Because MasterMoney® carries the internationally accepted MasterCard® Debit name, your card will be accepted at travel processors and merchant retailers all around the world. Plus, you’ll get the convenience of using any ATM around the world to track purchases and withdraw funds. Watch out for fake or altered ATMs. Crooks can install card readers to capture account information.

Please remember, some hotels, gas stations and restaurants will place a “block” or a “hold” on additional funds other than the actual balance of your transaction. And because of MCFCU's fraud monitoring system, other blocks could still potentially occur. Please carry a backup credit card or possibly some cash as another form of payment for emergencies when traveling.
